Amy specializes in the assessment and treatment of orofacial myofunctional disorders, oral-pharyngeal dysphagia, and motor speech/Apraxia of speech. She has specialized training in tethered oral tissues. She has a true passion for working with children who have complex medical needs, infants and toddlers with feeding challenges. Amy believes that a team approach is the most effective way for a child to make progress!
Amy has 25+ years of professional experience. She has gained valuable expertise by working in Children’s hospitals, outpatient clinics, Feeding Clinic, NICU, acute care, and early intervention. Outside of the clinic, Amy spends her time with her husband (Adam), daughter (Annabel), and new puppy (Huckleberry). She enjoys traveling, exercising, knitting, learning piano, snowshoeing, and berry picking.
