About Me

Jade has been working as an SLP since graduating with her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016. She worked as an SLP and Director of Rehab in skilled nursing facilities and outpatient services prior to joining the Parkwood team in 2021. Jade was drawn to Parkwood because of the clinic’s dedication to providing high quality care, value of life-long learning, and collaboration. Jade is passionate about serving her clients to the best of her ability, staying current on best practice and research, and developing client-centered goals and therapy activities.

Outside of the clinic, Jade enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter, and goofy dog. She loves to travel, hike, and camp. Jade also enjoys exploring new restaurants, coffee shops, and farmer’s markets.

Specialties

Jade enjoys working with individuals with myofunctional disorders, swallowing disorders, cognitive-communication deficits/executive functioning difficulties, aphasia, profound communication challenges, and fluency disorders. Jade is also particularly passionate about infant and toddler feeding, responsive feeding techniques, and fostering independence and communication in neurodivergent young adults.
