Cassie specializes in feeding and swallowing disorders, orofacial myofunction, early intervention, and caregiver coaching.
Cassie has been working as a speech therapist since 2019 and has been a team member at Parkwood Clinic since 2021. Prior to working in private practice, she worked and provided services in a variety of settings including early intervention, in-home, hospital, and skilled nursing facilities. Through these experiences she found her passion for facilitating effective feeding and swallowing skills across populations to improve their quality of life and the importance of caregiver training.
Cassie is an innovative, personable, goal-oriented therapist who values an individualized care approach when providing clinical services. She believes that establishing trust and rapport with her clients and their families is essential to supporting effective therapeutic processes.
Outside of the clinic, Cassie enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their hyper and goofy chocolate lab. Together, they spend their time traveling, hanging out with friends and family, and enjoying new restaurants.
Parkwood Clinic is a pediatric private practice that provides individualized, evidence-based, and family-centered speech and language services.
