Parkwood clinicians provide skilled treatment as well as parent/caregiver coaching through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.  This level of therapy allows progress toward targets and objectives over a computer or tablet.

Teletherapy decreases previous barriers such as location and scheduling restrictions for families to access skilled intervention-from the comfort of their couch!  Teletherapy is most successful when the client’s parent or caregiver is an active participant in the online session to achieve maximum carryover of techniques and generalization of skills when appropriate. Clinicians use online tools, games, and cueing to treat a variety of speech and language disorders through this virtual platform. Telehealth is an exciting development and a great fit for adults and children of all ages!
