Hi, my name is Danielle, I am a Portland native, and I graduated from the University of Redlands in southern California in 2020 with a double major in Communicative Disorders and Spanish. I have been at Parkwood for almost 3 years! I started at Parkwood in 2022 as a clinical aide and soon transitioned into a client services coordinator role for a year.
In 2023, I obtained my Speech Language Pathology Assistance license and have been working as an SLPA ever since. I specialize in bilingual early language development and in 2024 I became Autism Certified! Other interests of mine include working with the birth to 5 population, AAC, expressive and receptive language, articulation, social skills, and parent education.
Prior to my time at Parkwood, I spent many years in various childcare roles and as a camp counselor for school aged children. Through Parkwood clinic I also provide services at St. Francis and enjoying getting to spend time in the school settings. Additionally, I enjoy keeping Parkwood’s friends and families updated on clinic events by running our Instagram page! Outside of work, I enjoy reading, going to concerts, travelling with friends and family, playing card games, and being crafty.
